Dead to the world till nine.

Slow start, first attempt at Metro,

failed, called Uber.

 

Toured Arc de Triomphe.

Took pics of Eiffel Tower.

Bought some magnets and a tote.

 

Went wrong way.

Couldn’t figure out bus stop.

Ordered chicken sandwich, got ham.

 

Finally found tour bus stop.

Boarded the bus

and got headphones working.

 

We thought we had till ten PM.

Bus driver suddenly stopped,

at 8, saying, “I’m finished!”

 

Out on the streets of Paris.

Had Haagen-Dazs icecream.

Ten Euros for two scoops.

 

Called Uber. Exhausted.

Didn’t do groceries.

No food in the house.
