Thank You, Lord, for being good.

For being loving, just and true.

For extending love in Your beloved Son

And counting us as beloved, too.

 

Thank You, Lord, for hearing my prayers.

For being with me in good times and bad.

Thank You, Lord, for helping me see

There are reasons to take joy and be glad.

 

Thank You, Lord, for answering my prayers.

In the peace of this quiet hour,

You speak to me in Your still, small voice.

And offer me Your grace and power.

 

As long as I keep my focus on You,

Your strength and hope will carry me through.
