As I Think on My Troubles
Thank you for taking circumstances
that appear to be bad
and turn them around for the good.
My computer is down so I picked up a book
on gratefulness that has changed
the way I look at things.
I trust that you will use the aches and pains
the broken things
time-consuming problems for my good.
As I think of these things
some terrible, some mere annoyances
I give you praise.
As the veggies on Veggie Tales sing,
“God is bigger than the boogeyman”
You are bigger than all my troubles.
